What is MAGICAL Anyways?
MAGICAL—Multicultural Accessible Gatherings Improving 2SLGBTQIA+ Community Affirmation in London—grew from the early work of local grassroots organizers creating joyful, welcoming spaces for queer community.
With support from Regional HIV/AIDS Connection and grant funding, these ideas expanded into monthly gatherings, mentorship opportunities, and a MAGICAL Pride series. At its core, MAGICAL was born from the vision and care of 2SGBTQIA+ Londoners who wanted a more connected and celebratory queer community.

The Process
This project reminded me that collaboration is a beautiful gift—and truly one of my core creative values. Working closely with artist and writer Andrés Garzón and writer Kyle Kemmish, we created an 83-page comprehensive yearbook celebrating Magical’s events, parties, workshops, mentorhships and community moments. It also highlights the incredible work of local photographers Natali Bravo, Marshall Stonefish, and Roisin Miland.
The MAGICAL Yearbook was accepted into the London Public Library Media Archive, officially securing its place in London’s queer cultural history.
